HOUSE NOTES / STORAGE

Cookies and browser storage

GamePick uses browser storage for saved casinos and a consistent lineup during your visit. Administrator sign-in and security services can also use necessary cookies.

Browser storage has a specific job here

Cookies and browser storage are different ways a website can keep information on a device. This page describes the storage used by the website, including the purpose of each value and the controls you have. The absence of a site cookie does not mean every feature forgets its state immediately.

The features below run in the browser profile you are using. They are not linked to a GamePick account, and the site does not synchronise them between your phone and computer. Different browsers can therefore show different saved lists.

Your saved casino list

The local-storage entry named pp-saved contains the identifiers of casinos you have saved. It lets the heart controls remember your selections and the casino page show that shortlist again. The entry contains catalogue identifiers rather than account credentials or a history of activity at those casinos.

There is no automatic expiry set by this website for the saved list. It stays until you remove a selection, clear the list or the browser clears the site data. A shared browser profile can expose the list to another person using that profile.

Temporary order and saved-view information

The session-storage value pp-casino-seed-v1 is a random number used to keep the casino lineup consistent while you browse within a tab session. It avoids reshuffling choices during ordinary page interactions. It is not a personal rating, visitor account number or record of which casino you deposited with.

The separate pp-show-saved flag passes a saved-only view to the casino page. The destination reads it once and removes it. Session storage follows the browser tab session, subject to the browser's own restoration behaviour, rather than the longer-lasting saved list.

What the clear button removes

Clear my saved casinos empties the saved list used by this website. It removes the saved status from those casino controls. It does not clear the temporary placement value, delete data belonging to an external casino or reset everything your browser knows about other websites.

To remove the website's browser data more broadly, use your browser's site-data settings for the address where you opened it. You can also block storage through browser controls, although saved selections may then stop persisting. The guide text and ordinary page links remain available.

Optional previews and other preferences

External video players or hosted footage are requested only after you choose Play. That connection can involve the host's own cookies or storage rules. Local illustrations and local recordings use the site assets instead. Read the media label to understand what the box is showing.

The animation treatment follows your device’s reduced-motion preference without saving a separate setting here. Calculator entries and Offer check selections are not added to your saved-casino list. The privacy policy explains browser choices, messages and delivery of the website.

Administrator and security cookies

Signing in to the private CMS sets a session cookie to keep the administrator authenticated. Ordinary browsing does not require a CMS account. Cloudflare may set security cookies when applying a challenge or other protection. These support security rather than saved-casino preferences.

We do not add advertising pixels or visitor analytics scripts to the public page templates. You can manage cookies and site data in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent administrator sign-in or affect a security check.
