HOUSE NOTES / PRIVACY

Privacy policy

This notice explains how GamePick uses information when you browse gamepick.co.uk, save a casino or send a message.

GamePick and your information

GamePick publishes game comparisons and links to casino destinations. Contact the website team through our contact form about this notice or a privacy request. We do not operate casino accounts, accept deposits or receive your casino account password, payment information or game history.

You can browse without creating a visitor account. The administrator sign-in is reserved for the people who maintain the website. The details below cover this website; an external casino or LinkedIn page has its own privacy arrangements.

Messages you choose to send

The contact form asks for a name, email address, subject and message. We store those details in a restricted website inbox to handle your enquiry. Providing a message is optional. An email address lets us respond if a reply is needed; please do not include identification documents, payment details, passwords or sensitive account information.

We use contact details to handle the request you send, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering website enquiries and keeping the service useful. We do not add messages to a marketing mailing list. Routine messages are removed after six months. A separate record may be kept where needed to deal with an ongoing dispute or legal requirement.

Saved choices and calculations

Saved casinos are remembered in this browser using local storage. A temporary random value keeps the casino lineup consistent during a tab session, and a separate temporary flag opens your saved view. These values are not casino account details. Cookies and browser storage lists their purposes and explains how to clear them.

Calculator inputs, game filters and comparison choices are processed in your browser. The page features do not send those entered amounts or choices to a GamePick account. There are no decisions about credit, eligibility or access based on calculator results.

Delivering and protecting the website

Our hosting service and Cloudflare process technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the website. This can include your IP address, the requested address, time, browser information and a response status. Security checks and request limits help keep the site available and reduce abusive submissions. Our basis is the legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure website.

Website access logs are kept for up to 14 days. Short-lived request-limit identifiers are not added to contact messages. Encrypted connections protect data in transit. Restricted backups support recovery, with a rolling retention of 30 days. Providers may process technical data in the countries where their infrastructure operates; their applicable contractual and transfer arrangements govern that processing.

External destinations and media

Play and Visit buttons open the named casino. Registration, payments and play on that service are handled by its operator. Author profile links open LinkedIn. Following an external link means that the destination receives a request from your browser; its policies then apply.

Game artwork and the normal page assets are served with the website. Video playback starts when you choose it. Where a media label identifies an external player or source, that service receives the playback request under its own arrangements.

Your privacy choices and requests

You can ask for access to personal information we hold about you, correction of an error, deletion or restriction where the relevant right applies. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send a request through Contact GamePick and describe the information concerned. We may need proportionate information to confirm that a request is yours.

You can remove saved casinos or clear this site’s browser data without contacting us. If you have a concern about our handling of personal information, please tell us. You can also raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator, through its website at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
